- What is Banking on Our Futuresm?
Banking on Our Future is a free online financial education
program that teaches children and adults the basics of banking, budgeting,
savings and checking accounts, credit, and investing. The Banking
on Our Future program is sponsored by Wells Fargo, Operation Hope,
and SmartForce.
- What are the hardware and software requirements for accessing the
Banking on Our Future Web site?
Hardware Requirements
In order to fully appreciate the content on this site, it is recommended
that you have a computer with at least a 56 KBPS or faster connection
to the Internet, a sound card, and speakers (or headphones).
Software Requirements
This site requires a Web browser that supports frames and Java. It
is recommended that you have Microsoft® Internet Explorer 4.01
(with Service Pack 2) or higher or Netscape Communicator® 4.7x.
Using older browsers or disabling browser functions such as JavaScript
will render the site inaccessible.
Additionally, you will need to have the Macromedia®
FlashTM 5.0 plug-in installed.
You can find information about the Flash plug-in at the Macromedia
Web site. Flash is a technology used to deliver low-bandwidth
animations and interactive Web sites that attract and engage users
with a richer, more compelling Web experience. (Please note that Mac
OS users may experience Flash errors at this time.)
- How do I determine which browser version I am using?
Microsoft Windows users
Go to the Help menu on your browser and choose About.
A dialog box will display, showing which browser and version you are
using.

Please indicate the nature of your problem, and your browser version,
plug-in version, and operating system.
- If you prefer, you can call support staff directly at 800-404-9299
(North American residents only). When calling technical support, please
press option #2 for "students of SmartForce products". Then
select option #2 again. You will be connected with a SmartForce Technical
Support Representative. You will be asked for your first and last name,
phone number, and organization (Banking on Our Future). The Technical
Support Representative will help troubleshoot the problem. The Representative
may need to call you back and will give you a ticket number for future
reference.
